The challenge
Most point-of-sale systems handle transactions well but treat stock, financial reporting, and warehouse operations as separate concerns. The goal was a single system where a sale, a stock movement, and a profit/loss figure are always in sync — while still feeling current rather than like a generic POS package.
The approach

Scoped four core modules: stock management, invoice management, profit/loss management, and warehouse management.

Planned a phase-by-phase build spanning backend, a Flutter point-of-sale app, and a web admin panel.

Researched current, market-relevant POS features to fold into the plan rather than replicating a generic system.

Produced a formal project proposal to define scope and phased delivery before development began.
The outcome
The project moved from concept to a structured, phased proposal ready for development — laying out a backend, mobile app, and admin panel that keep stock, sales, and profitability connected in one system.
